In the summer of 2024, despite busy schedules, my family and I planned a road trip to Utah, Arizona, and New Mexico. I had been fascinated with the history of the West, driven by a love of the movie "Spirit: The Stallion of Cimarron". The idea of freedom, adventure, untamed beauty, and forces of nature inspired so much of my creativity. So I planned out this series as a tribute to those feelings. However, circumstances changed those planned and the trip was postponed until next year. I still wanted to capture some of those feelings in the Canyonlands near my home, which led to this photo series.
