After checking out the beautiful Loch Ard Gorge and 12 Apostles, we continued on our Great Ocean Road Journey with Go West Tours. This time curving inland to explore the Otways National Park, and take a look around Mait's Rest. When we entered Mait's rest, I felt like I had suddenly shrunk, because for the first time in my life I saw tree ferns. They were huge and ancient, and it felt like stepping back in time. After we left, we made one more stop to look for sleeping Kolas and found a few high up in the Eucalyptus trees. Then we headed on our way into Apollo Bay.
