The Sound in the Silence

Yesterday and today, were both moments of quiet. I found myself partially along with only the teachers on the trip to encourage me forward. However, the questions I had in my mind seemed to burn brighter, and an answer started to take shape in the middle of it. I'm not Catholic. I am not walking the Camino de Santiago for faith. I am walking for another reason. But as I push myself, physically, mentally, emotionally, and creatively I find that the answers I am looking for I also seem to ignore. I focus on my work and the moment rather than looking past the pain and my fixations. However, today, being alone pushed me to recognize that. And that is what I captured in these moments. The silence and the storm inside my head.
